Switching to CademySwitching is the easy part.

Contacts, organisations, courses, dates and registrations, from a spreadsheet or your old system. Arlo has its own importer.

From where

If it can export a spreadsheet, we can import it.

Most teams arrive from one of these. A folder of spreadsheets is often the quickest move of all.

What comes across

Everything with a date on it. Especially the dates.

Migrations go wrong when history is left behind. We move the history, not just the list.

Courses and content

Titles, prices, formats and settings. Video and SCORM upload straight into the outline.

Dates and sessions

Future dates with venue, trainer and capacity, bookable on day one. Past dates for the records.

Learners and organisations

Every contact with their organisation and tags.

Bookings and payments

Who booked what, imported as bookings and orders.

Registrations and attendance

Who attended what, so the history is on the record from day one.

Your website

The old widget comes off, the Cademy snippet goes on. Same pages, live dates.

Your first week

Five working days, one person on our side who knows your setup.

The plan for a typical provider. Larger migrations get a scoped one, in the same shape.

1

Kick-off and export

A call with our team. We agree what moves; you export what you can.

Export in hand
2

Import and mapping

We map your fields and import into a staging account. You check a short list.

Data in, checked
3

Website, payments, calendars

Snippet on your site, Stripe and Xero connected, calendars synced.

Bookable
4

Team and automations

Logins with the right roles. Reminders and follow-ups switched on, in your words.

Running itself
5

First course live

Register taken, certificate issued, invoice in Xero. Old system off.

Live
Run both in parallel for as long as you like. Nothing goes public until you say so.

Up and running in a week. Not a quarter.

Teams that moved

Once the export is behind them.

Our team had to import over 300 courses and Cademy’s support walked us through the process step-by-step.

I migrated all of my online training courses recently. The process is very smooth and they go above and beyond to help.

Questions

Before they move, people ask.

Anything else, ask on chat or book a call. A person answers.

What does migration cost?

Contact imports are included on every plan, course imports from Pro, and migration support on Enterprise. Nobody is charged by the row.

What about learners halfway through a course?

Their registrations come across. Lesson progress rarely exports cleanly from another system, so ask us what is possible for yours.

Can we keep the old system running for a while?

As long as you like. Nothing on Cademy goes public until you switch the snippet or booking site on.

Is our data safe, and can we leave again?

Your data stays yours. Export everything as CSV at any time. Cademy Group Ltd is a UK company and processes data under UK GDPR.

Start the move

Tell us what you are moving from. We will tell you how long it takes.

Thirty minutes with an onboarding lead, your old system on screen. No obligation.
