Thinkific alternativeA Thinkific alternative for training that runs on scheduled dates.
Thinkific is a learning commerce platform for experts, academies and companies selling online learning. When your courses also meet in a training room or on Zoom and companies pay by invoice, Cademy books the dates and takes the register as well as hosting the online lessons.
An employer books staff who study online, then attend a classroom day.
Thinkific's help center says webinars and coaching sessions are hosted on Zoom or another video platform, and certificates are issued at 100% course completion. In-person dates and registers are not described.
What Cademy adds for dated and company training.
Choose in person, live online on Zoom, on demand, blended or on request for each course. Dates sit on one calendar with saved venues, and Cademy creates the Zoom meeting for each one.
Cademy matches each contact to their organization from the email domain. Whoever books for a team pays for the places, changes the attendee names afterward, and follows each person's progress and certificates.
Marking a learner attended sends their certificate by email. For blended courses, Cademy holds it until both the classroom day and the online part are done. You can sort and export registrations by expiry date.

Move to Cademy if
- Your training happens on scheduled days, in a training room or on Zoom.
- Client companies book their staff and need their PO number on the invoice.
- You take a register, and certificates have to expire.
- You want to set up on a free plan. Thinkific starts with a 30-day trial.

Moving your students, orders and courses.
Every Cademy plan, Free among them, lets you run the import yourself. Teams includes our team's help with the migration, and Enterprise gets one we run hands-on.
Export from Thinkific
Export your user list and your orders report from the admin dashboard. Thinkific emails each one to you as a CSV file.
Import people and orders
Those two files become contacts, organizations, registrations and orders in Cademy, and each learner joins their company's record through their email domain.
Set up each course
Enter its dates, venues and price, place videos and downloads in lessons, then configure quizzes and the point at which certificates go out.
Switch your links
Point buyers to your Cademy booking site, or embed Cademy's calendar or course list in your own pages. Then connect Stripe, PayPal or Klarna.
Keep Thinkific running while current students finish. Your new Cademy courses go live only when you publish them.

What does Cademy include for the price?
Cademy Pro is £99 ($129) a month billed yearly, with no platform fee. It includes course booking, scheduling, the LMS, certificates with expiry dates, the training CRM and pay by invoice with the booker's PO number. On Thinkific, invoicing starts with the Grow plan. Cademy's Free plan has no time limit.
Can I bring my Thinkific students across?
Yes. Import the user list and orders report as CSV files on any Cademy plan, and they become contacts, organizations, registrations and orders. Teams adds migration help from our team, and on Enterprise our team does the whole migration.
Can a certificate depend on attending a classroom day?
Yes. Cademy can issue it on attendance, on completion of the online part, or once both are done on a blended course. Each certificate can carry an expiry date.
Does Cademy host on-demand courses as well?
Yes. On any plan a course can hold video and download lessons, quizzes that need a pass mark, drip-fed content and a forum. Teams adds SCORM 1.2 packages. You choose lifetime access or a set period.
