Who Administrate is for

Administrate's own pricing page sets out who should buy it.

Administrate's pricing page recommends it to organizations that meet two of its criteria, such as training “over 5,000 learners in a year” or selling training. Its Why Administrate page says it “may not be the right fit for small teams”.

Packages are quoted on request, based on annual learner count and the size of the admin team, and the page says they “typically range from five to mid-six figures”. The contract is three years, and onboarding is a paid project with a dedicated team.

If your team trains a few hundred or a few thousand learners a year, that is a lot of commitment for the size of the job. Cademy's paid plans start at £99 ($129) a month billed yearly, with every limit on the pricing page.

Size and fit

Administrate fits enterprise programs. Cademy fits smaller teams.

Administrate is the better fit if

  • You train more than 5,000 learners a year and run several brands or sites.
  • You need the system to block double bookings of instructors, rooms and equipment.
  • Your training data has to sync with Salesforce, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or Cornerstone.
  • You want a staffed onboarding team to scope integrations and prepare your data.

Cademy is the better fit if

  • You want prices you can see before a sales call.
  • You would rather not sign a three-year contract.
  • A small admin team runs your courses, and you want to start this week.
  • You sell courses to the public and to companies.

Moving from Administrate

Moving your records off Administrate.

Plan the move around the end of your contract term, and run Cademy alongside until then.

1

Export your reports

Administrate exports report results as CSV or Excel files. Export contacts, organizations, courses, events and registrations.

2

Import into Cademy

Import the contacts, organizations, courses, dates, registrations and orders from those files. Any plan can import. On Teams our team helps with the migration, and on Enterprise we take it off your hands.

3

Set up courses and online content

Rebuild each course with its dates, pricing, certificates and reminders. Upload video to the course outline, and SCORM 1.2 packages too on Teams.

4

Go live before renewal

Publish new dates on Cademy while your last Administrate events run. Courses stay hidden until you switch them on.

Questions

Before leaving Administrate.

Is Cademy cheaper than Administrate?

Administrate does not publish prices. Its pricing page says packages typically range from five to mid-six figures on a three-year contract. Cademy Teams is £499 ($649) a month billed yearly, at the price on its pricing page.

How does Cademy handle room and trainer scheduling?

Dates, venues and facilitators share one calendar with month, week, timeline and list views, and each trainer sees their own dates. Administrate's scheduling prevents overbooking of rooms, equipment and instructors.

Can I move from Administrate to Cademy?

Yes. Administrate exports reports as CSV, and those files import into Cademy as contacts, organizations, courses, dates, registrations and orders. Every plan can run the import. On Teams you get our team's help, and Enterprise adds a full migration we manage.

Does Cademy connect to Salesforce?

Salesforce, HubSpot and NetSuite apps are available on custom plans. Get in touch to see whether they fit your setup.
