Course registrationClass registration that keeps going when a date is full.

Course registration software takes someone from your course page to a confirmed place: they choose a date, add their details and pay, and the confirmation email goes out. Cademy runs that checkout on your own website or your branded booking site, and opens a waitlist when the places run out.

The same checkout takes a learner paying by card and a manager booking ten places on an invoice, with the names to follow.

The registration flow

Four screens to a confirmed place.

The steps are the same on your website and on your booking site.

1

Spaces

Pick the date and the number of places. Add another course or date and it all goes through one checkout.

2

Your details

Name, email and any fields you add to the form. Someone booking for a team can skip the names and add them later.

3

Payment

Card, PayPal or Klarna, for the full price, a deposit or the first monthly installment. Codes and vouchers are redeemed here. From Pro, a company can pay by invoice with its PO number.

4

Done

Cademy sends the confirmation email and adds the registration to the date, then the reminder emails before it starts.

Waitlists

When a date is full, people join the waitlist.

When a place frees up, Cademy emails the people on the waitlist for you, and the booking runs like any other.

A full date stays on the course page, with its waitlist open.

How the waitlist runs

The last place on a date has gone.

  1. The course page shows the date with its waitlist open
  2. People who still want that date join the waitlist
  3. When places open, Cademy emails the people waiting in the order they joined
  4. Emails go out hourly, and the first person to book gets the place
  5. Each email has a one-click link to leave the waitlist

Around the date

  • Booking confirmed, moved or canceled emails
  • Reminders in the week, the day and the hour before
  • Follow-up the day after
  • Your own templates for each of them
  • How automations work
Groups and companies

A manager books the places. The names can follow.

The manager pays for the places and fills in names when they have them, then follows each person’s progress and certificates. Each name becomes a registration on the date.

Questions

About registration and waitlists.

Anything else, ask a person.

What is class registration software?

Software that lets people sign up for a class or course date online. They choose the date, enter their details, pay, and get a confirmation by email. Cademy also runs the waitlist for full dates, group bookings, and invoices for companies.

How does the waitlist work?

When a date is full, people join the waitlist. When places open, Cademy emails the people waiting in the order they joined. The emails go out hourly and places are first come, first served, so the first person to book gets the place. Each email has a one-click link to leave the waitlist.

Can one person register a group?

Yes. The booker buys the places and adds or removes attendees afterwards, then sees each person’s progress and certificates. From Pro, they can pay by invoice and enter a PO number.

Can people register for several courses at once?

Yes. Courses and dates go into one basket and through one checkout, with one invoice for the order or one per course.

Can people pay a deposit or in installments?

Yes. Take a deposit of 1 to 95% at checkout with the balance due before the course, or split the price into 2 to 12 monthly payments, the first at checkout. Each installment gets a reminder and a payment link.

Can I ask my own questions at registration?

Yes. Add custom fields to the form people fill in at checkout.
