Kajabi and dated training

When your courses run on dates and companies book them.

  1. 1

Your courses meet on fixed dates, in a venue or over Zoom, and each date has a limited number of places.

Each Cademy course carries its own dates and venues on one calendar. Zoom meetings are created per date, and a waitlist emails people in the order they joined.

  2. 2

An employer reserves places for its team and sends the attendee names a week after.

Whoever placed the order can add or remove attendees after buying, and check how each attendee is progressing and which certificates they hold.

  3. 3

The client's finance team will only pay against an invoice that carries their PO number.

On Pro, a client can choose invoice at checkout and type in its PO number, which appears on the invoice. Teams plans sync those invoices to Xero.

  4. 4

You need a record of who turned up.

Every date has an attendance register. Mark a learner attended and Cademy issues the certificate and emails it out.

  5. 5

Certificates expire, and you track the dates in a spreadsheet.

Each certificate can have an expiry date, which registrations can be sorted and exported by. From Pro, Cademy awards CPD points and hours automatically.

  6. 6

You run more courses than Kajabi's Basic plan allows.

Kajabi Basic counts each course as one of its 5 products. Cademy Pro publishes 20 courses for £99 ($129) a month billed yearly.

Moving from Kajabi

Moving your contacts, sales and courses from Kajabi.

Kajabi exports contacts and transactions as CSV, and you can import them on any Cademy plan, including Free. Our team helps with the migration on Teams. On Enterprise, we handle it for you.

1

Export from Kajabi

Export customers and contacts from the Contacts tab, and your sales from the Transactions page. Kajabi emails each CSV to you.

2

Load your contacts and sales

Load those files as Cademy contacts, organizations, registrations and orders, and each learner is attached to their employer through the email domain.

3

Rebuild your courses

Create each course with its format, dates and price, add video and download lessons and quizzes, and pick the moment its certificate is issued.

4

Move the booking links

Replace Kajabi checkout links with an embedded Cademy calendar or course list on your site, or with your Cademy booking site. Connect Stripe, PayPal or Klarna to take payment.

If you keep Kajabi for coaching or a community, the two can run side by side. Buyers see a Cademy course only after you publish it.

Questions

Before leaving Kajabi.

Is Cademy cheaper than Kajabi?

Can I move my Kajabi contacts and sales?

Yes. Export the contacts and transactions CSV files from Kajabi and import them as contacts, organizations, registrations and orders. Imports are self-serve on every plan. Teams customers get help from our team, and Enterprise customers get a full migration run by us.

Can Cademy run classroom courses on fixed dates?

Yes. Every date appears on a single calendar alongside your saved venues, facilitators see the dates they teach, and learners get reminders a week, a day and an hour before. Courses can also run live online on Zoom, on demand or blended.
