Construction trainingPlaces for the crew now, names when the site sends them.
Cademy is training management software for providers who train construction workers: site safety, working at height, plant and equipment, supervisor courses and short toolbox sessions. A contractor books places for a crew and adds the workers’ names once the site confirms them. Each worker’s certificate shows when it expires.
Crew bookings
- Places first, with names added by the booker after buying
- Discounts, offers and vouchers
- Confirmation and reminder emails for every worker
Paperwork
- Invoices that carry the contractor’s PO, from Pro
- Deposits, credit notes and partial refunds
- Xero gets the invoice and PO, on Teams
Records
- Attendance taken on each date
- A certificate per worker, with its expiry date
- Exports sorted by expiry, to CSV
At your training center or on the job.
Public dates run at your saved venues. A private date for one contractor can carry the address of the job it is on, and the trainer running it sees that date in their own Google or Outlook calendar.
Your venues
- Saved venues for each center and yard
- Month, week, year, timeline and list views
- Grouped by facilitator or location
Client sites
- Private courses and dates for one contractor, from Pro
- The site address on that date
- An attendance register for the trainer on the day
Facilitators
- Their own dates and registers when they sign in
- Their dates in Google Calendar or Outlook
- Multi-day courses blocked from the first day to the last
Every worker under the firm that pays.
Workers join their employer’s organization record automatically, by email domain. The record holds the contractor’s people, orders, registrations and private dates. A group with several firms can sit above them as a parent organization.

Pick in person, blended or on request when you build the course.
Multi-day blocks
A supervisor course over four days.
- Schedule the block across the days it runs
- Workers are reminded the week before, the day before and an hour before
- The trainer marks attendance on the register
- Everyone marked attended is sent a certificate showing its expiry date
Blended courses
Theory at home, practical on the day.
- On-demand lessons and a quiz with a pass mark, before the practical
- A passed quiz opens the next lesson
- Lesson deadlines send reminder emails to anyone behind
- The certificate waits for both the online part and attendance on the day
Toolbox talks
An hour on site, booked when a client asks.
- List the course as on request, so contractors ask for a date
- Create a private date at their site and assign the trainer
- Take the register before the shift starts
- Each certificate goes on the worker’s record, where the booker can see it
Xero for the accounts, Google or Outlook for the trainers.
Contractors paying by card go through Stripe, PayPal or Klarna. On Teams, Xero receives each invoice with its PO number.
Each app’s plan is listed on the pricing page. Apps for HubSpot, Salesforce and NetSuite come on custom plans, so ask us about those.

What construction trainers ask us.
If yours is missing, book a call.
Can a contractor book places before they know who is going?
Yes. The booker buys the places at checkout, then adds the workers’ names from their account when the site sends them, and can add or remove people after that. Each worker gets their own registration, reminder emails and certificate.
Can clients pay on invoice with a PO number?
Yes, from Pro. The booker chooses to pay by invoice at checkout and enters the PO number, which is printed on the invoice. On Teams, the invoice and its PO number are passed to Xero.
Can we run a course on a client’s site?
Yes. Create a private date for that contractor (private courses and dates are available from Pro), put the site address on the date and assign the trainer. If the trainer has connected Google or Outlook, the date appears in their calendar.
How do I see which workers’ certificates are due to expire?
Every certificate carries an expiry date. Sort or export registrations by certificate expiry, filter to a course or a month, or open the contractor’s organization record to see its workers. Then invite them to the next date.
Can the theory be done online before the practical day?
Yes. A blended course puts on-demand lessons and a quiz with a pass mark ahead of the practical date. The certificate is issued once the worker has completed the online part and been marked attended on the day.
How much does Cademy cost?
There is a free plan with a 5% platform fee on payments taken through Cademy checkout. Pro is £99 ($129) a month billed yearly, with no platform fee, and Teams is £499 ($649) a month billed yearly. Imports are on every plan.
