Health and safety trainingCourses the employer books, certificates each delegate keeps.
Cademy is training management software for health and safety training providers: first aid, fire safety, manual handling, mental health first aid and safety management courses sold to employers. Sell public dates on your website, run in-house courses at the client’s site and invoice the employer against their PO. Every delegate gets a certificate with its own expiry date.
Public dates
- Booking on your website through an embed, or on a branded booking site
- Reminder emails a week, a day and an hour before
- A waitlist that emails the people waiting, in order, when a place opens
In-house courses
- Private dates for one client, from Pro
- The client’s address on that date, or one of your saved venues
- Invoiced to the employer with their PO, also from Pro
Each delegate
- An attendance register on every date
- A certificate with an expiry date, issued on attendance
- CPD points and hours added, from Pro
Five places for the warehouse team, names to follow.
The person at checkout is often a manager booking for staff. They take the places, enter a PO number and choose to pay by invoice. The delegates’ names can wait until the shift pattern is settled.
At checkout
- Pay by invoice against a PO, from Pro
- Card, PayPal or Klarna, with Apple Pay and Google Pay where available
- Several courses in one basket
- Discounts and vouchers in the final step
After the booking
- The booker adds the names later, and can remove someone and add a replacement
- Each delegate gets their own confirmation and reminders
- The booker sees progress and downloads every certificate on the order
The invoice
- The PO number printed on the invoice
- Posted to Xero with the PO, on Teams
- A credit note or partial refund when someone drops out
- Contacts linked to the employer by email domain
A fire marshal day at the client’s site, filed under the client.
From Pro, an in-house course is a private date linked to the client’s organization. Give the date the client’s address for that day and your saved venues stay as they are. The trainer sees the date in their own calendar, and the register for the date is ready to mark.

The theory and a quiz at home, then the practical day.
Delegates read and watch the theory before the classroom date and finish with a knowledge check. The quiz can have a pass mark and retakes, and the next lesson can stay locked until they pass. The certificate is issued after the online lessons are complete and the register shows the delegate as attended.

Who is due for a refresher, by client or by month.

Refresher dates
Fill next spring’s dates from last spring’s delegates.
- Sort all registrations by certificate expiry
- Select the delegates who are due and email them from your own templates
- They book a public date on your website
- The new certificate carries a later expiry date
Records for the employer
A client wants copies for its own files.
- The booker downloads every certificate on the order
- Export the client’s registrations to CSV, with attendance and certificate dates

Questions from health and safety providers.
Ask us anything else on a call.
Can an employer pay by invoice with a PO number?
Yes, from Pro. The booker enters the PO number at checkout and chooses to pay by invoice, and the PO is printed on the invoice. On Teams the invoice is posted to Xero with the PO.
Can a company book places before it knows who is coming?
Yes. The booker takes the places in one group booking and adds the delegates’ names afterwards. They can remove someone and add a replacement, see each person’s progress and download every certificate on the order.
Can I run a course at the client’s premises?
Yes. From Pro, create a private date linked to the client’s organization, so it is visible to that client only, and enter the client’s address for that date. It appears in the trainer’s calendar like any other date.
How do I see which delegates’ certificates are expiring?
Every certificate has an expiry date on the delegate’s registration. Sort or filter registrations by certificate expiry, for one client or for all of them, then export the list to CSV or email the delegates from your own templates.
Can delegates do the theory online before the practical day?
Yes. A blended course puts the lessons and a quiz with a pass mark ahead of the classroom date. The certificate is issued once the delegate has completed the online part and been marked attended, and CPD points and hours are added from Pro.
How much does Cademy cost?
There is a free plan with a 5% platform fee on paid bookings. Pro is £99 ($129) a month billed yearly, with no platform fee. Teams is £499 ($649) a month billed yearly.
