What is an AI training management system?
A training management system that uses AI for some of its work. In practice that means AI that drafts content, and AI assistants that can look things up or act in the system on your behalf. Scheduling, invoicing and certification are still best run by fixed rules.
Is it the same as an AI LMS?
No. An AI LMS applies AI to learning: content, recommendations, tutoring. AI training management applies it to running the training business: courses, dates, bookings, clients and admin.
What should I ask a vendor who says their TMS has AI?
Ask what the AI does that a rule could not, whether it can change data or only read it, whose permissions it uses, and whether every action is logged.
