A wonderful way to upcycle old fabrics and create your very own Christmas wreath at the same time. You will be using the Shaggy Rag Rug technique to create your own rag rug wreath.
Join us to learn one of the basic rag rugging techniques and to cut your strips to make the most of your scrap fabric. This old English tradition is the ultimate in up-cycling, using rags, fabric strips and clips of old clothes to create a festive wreath to adorn your home.
What's included - You will be provided with the hessian and a supporting back board and a rag rug hook to take away. Full instruction and help on hand from Hannah together with a cuppa and cake to keep you fuelled up and ready to create! You can dip into the Stitching Kitchen Stash to create the fabric strips but feel free to bring any Christmas coloured old clothes to add to your wreath.
What to bring - if you wish you can bring along fabrics to include in your project. I stock the spring tool which you might want to upgrade to and a range other craft kits and equipment, you may want to bring your purse.
