Its time to develop your me made wardrobe and what better garment to include but the Ramona Pencil / Mini Skirt by Tilly and the Buttons. This beginners workshop is also a great first garment as we have time to cover the basic dressmaking skills of measuring, choosing sizes and reading a pattern.

How to construct the skirt using a sewing machine and iron to press seams.
Inserting an invisible zip using an invisible zip foot
Finishing the skirt with a neat hem
Tuition: full instruction and support in a small class (maximum of 6).
Use of our Pfaff machines in Stitching Kitchen's fully equipped studio.
A paper copy of the Ramona pattern worth £18.50 is included, fabric bundles will be available to buy too just add to the cart along with your ticket, images of the fabric choices are in the photos above.
Tea and cake.
Fabric and notions unless you have purchased a bundle from us. A packed lunch as we will break for lunch half way through.
Please note that this workshop is held in our light and spacious first floor studio at Stitching Kitchen, which is accessible by stairs.
Priti loves to sew. Her mum was a seamstress and she loved to watch her work. Priti found time during lockdown to get back into sewing, she teaches in her day job and is blending her skills to run beginner sewing workshops.
