Kintsugi Masterclass with Pippa Pixley in the Peak District

Book now for Pippa's Kintsugi Masterclass - The course will take place in The Studio at The Dove Valley Centre, a rural retreat in the heart of the Peak District National Park. We will start at 1.00 pm and finish at 3.00 pm.

This half-day workshop will involve learning the traditional and modern skills of repairing ceramics. The session will start with using handmade paper, 24k gold leaf, and gold thread as we learn about this ancient traditional art. We will then work with a variety of pots which will be lovingly repaired using various lacquers and gold metal powder. Each piece restored will be unique and beautiful.
