Ready to conquer dressmaking and walk away with your new favourite pair of trousers?

We are thrilled to launch this brand-new, full-day workshop in the studio! Together, we’ll make a gorgeous, comfortable pair of ladies' trousers featuring an easy-wear elasticated waistband and—the absolute best bit—pockets! This class is incredibly versatile; you can choose to make yours in woven fabric (like cotton or viscose) or a cosy knit (like jersey or French terry). By the end of the day, you’ll not only have a finished pair of trousers to wear home, but also the skills and confidence to recreate them again and again.

Fabric Note: To ensure you leave with a pair of trousers that match your personal style perfectly, fabric is not included in the course fee. You will need to bring your own choice of fabric. Whether you fancy a breezy summer linen or a ultra-cosy sweatshirt jersey, the choice is yours! You will require approximately 3 metres. If you contact me with waist and hip measurements, I can give you a more accurate measurement.

Woven fabrics (e.g., linen, cotton, viscose, light denim) and stable knits (e.g., ponte roma, French terry, interlock jersey)

Everything else is on us: pattern tracing paper, high-quality elastic for your waistband, interfacing, and all haberdashery notions are fully provided. You can bring your own machine or you are welcome to use studio sewing machines and overlockers. Just bring your fabric, your lunch, and your creative energy! (There is a cafe downstairs if you wish, book your lunch when you arrive)
