This workshop is aimed at those who already have some experience and want to improve their carving skills.
This workshop will focus on adding 'crank', or bends, to spoons. An essential skill to create spoons that function well and look great.
Focus on the way to add crank, as well as improving axe technique, will be the main subject of the day.
Also covered will be -
- Spoon Design & Ergonomics for function and strength
- Smooth finishing cuts on dry wood
- Tool maintenance & sharpening
Please note this workshop is only suitable for those with some prior experience of carving with an axe. If unsure don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your current skill level.

Courses run from 10am - Around 4pm

These workshops are for adults only, however children from age 16+ may attend if joined by a participating adult.

The aim of Fazey Woodcraft is to promote and teach traditional, sustainable craft skills to all those who may be interested.
