Have you ever looked at an intricate quilt and thought you could never do that?
Each quilt begins with one simple block. Put that block with with others and rearrange them, and you begin to create wonderful patterns. That is how a quilt is born!
Join me for Patchwork and Quilting for Beginners and see how, just using two of the simplest quilting blocks, you can create a gorgeous wall hanging or cushion cover.

Basic blocks of patchwork-squares and half square triangles
Sewing block together

Simple quilting
Finishing as a cushion or wall hanging

If you want to bring your own sewing kit (scissors, rotary cutter etc,) and/or sewing machine, you are more than welcome to do so. However, there are machines available to use. If you want to get to know your own machine, then please do bring it along
Tea, coffee, squash and some snacks will be available. You may wish to bring your own cup. If you need to bring lunch, then please bring a packed lunch. There is a small fridge in the studio
