A course of 6 weekly sessions for Beginners Potters
If you’ve never touched clay or have no experience since those little creations at school (the one your mum still treasures!) but you’re intrigued by all the creations you see at cute makers markets or avidly watching the Great Pottery Throw Down! Our hand building classes guide you through the foundation skills of slab building, coiling and pinch pots. You will also investigate various techniques for surface decoration and basic glazing. Your work from each class will be fired and a collection of completed pieces will be glaze fired and ready to collect 3-4 weeks after your last class.
Tuesday evenings: 7pm - 9.15pm
