Fairy House Workshop - a wonderful full day workshop for magical adults ( min age 16yrs)
In The first part of the workshop, we will teach you how to create your own pottery Fairy House. After lunch you will use colours to bring it to life.
We will take you through the project step-by-step, to create your dream fairy house with moulds, stamps and free-hand making. Using all of your fairy imagination, after a break for lunch we will decorate and add underglazes.
Your fairy houses will stay with us for the kiln firing and glazing process and will be ready to collect in approx 3 weeks. Your finished piece could have the addition of an led light when you take it home, so you will see that the fairy folk have moved in ❣️

Is the studio warm
Yes, the studio is cosy warm and heated
Do you have toilets
There are two fully accessible toilets available for studio use.
Can children come?
Children age 7 yrs upward are welcome to attend private /family bookings or where the class or course states it is for children, when accompanied by an adult. All our other classes, workshops and courses are for 16yrs upwards unless an age group is otherwise stated.
Is this class fully accessible
This class is in our main studio space and is fully accessible.
Do you provide aprons?
We have freshly laundered aprons available. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. We recommend wearing old comfortable clothing.
Can we take what we make home on the day?
UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED
Creating your project with ceramic clay or glass fusing means that it will need time to be fired in the kilns. Your work will be left with us for the firing process. This can take approx 3 wks, but will be well worth the wait.! We will email you to arrange a day / time to come back and collect your finished work.

Shown what to do and then set free to create, if you have questions or ideas Nic was there to guide and encourage and occasionally try and keep you to time!. Love making my little house and really excited to see it once fired. Brilliant space too - will be back to try out another workshop soon. Can't recommend highly enough!

I had great fun on the fairy house workshop and would thoroughly recommend it. I didn't think I would actually be able to make a fairy house from scratch in the "short" time (those 6 hours flew by!!) we were there, but we all managed to create little works of art by the end of the session. The 2 tutors, Nic and Lou, were knowledgeable, patient and guided us through everything. The attendees were of mixed abilities, including beginners so don't worry if you've never worked with clay before.
