Pottery: Hand-Building & Throwing 6 week Course

Our first dates for a 6 week Pottery Hand-building & Throwing Pottery course are here!

Suitable for complete Beginners or those with a little pottery experience.

Over the 6 weeks during the 2.5 hour sessions we’ll explore a range of different hand-building techniques and you’ll begin to practice throwing skills on a potters wheel

Across the 6 weeks you will complete approximately 2/3 hand-building projects along with 3/4 finished thrown pieces (every piece you throw might not kept, the best will be selected for finishing & glazing … we won’t quite have the bucket of doom!!) these will be bisque fired and you will glaze your own work. Ready for the final Glaze firing by the end of the course and collection a couple of weeks after the course has finished.
