Learn how to use a paper pattern to make a garment

5 weeks / 2 hours a week

Use a commercial paper pattern to make a garment - suggest for first-timers a simple top, trousers or skirt, using a stable woven fabric.

We'll go over how to take your measurements, fabric layout and cutting out. We'll also look at pattern instructions and terminology used, haberdashery and a few useful gadgets!

Skills required:
Join this course if you have some experience of sewing, but are either new to Clothes Making, would like to refresh your skills and/or learn professional finishing techniques. 

You'll make a garment of your choice.
