• Where is the training held?

  This course is held in either our Cardiff Clinic: The weight loss doctor, 272 North Rd, Cardiff, CF14 3BL or our Swansea clinic: The weight loss doctor, 391 The Kingsway, Swansea, SA1 5LQ. 

• What Will I Learn?

  This course is designed to deliver the most popular basic aesthetic treatments. You will learn how to inject Botulinum toxin using different brands to treat upper face lines:

  Crows feet.

  Frown Lines

  Forehead lines.

  Bunny Lines (nose lines). 

  For filler you will learn how to treat:

  Marionette.

  Nasolabial.

  Smokers lines.

  Lips: border and body. 

• Do you cover complications?

  We cover complications during the day, if you feel you need a more in-depth review of complications management then book onto our stand-alone complications management course. 

• Is one day enough?

  We get asked this alot and our honest answer is that it is always better if you can book onto our two day course (The cost of this is £1600) however because we take care in not allowing more than 2 delegates onto the course at a time and you will receive the theory content beforehand to review we are able to spend a large portion of the day concentrating on practical experience. This hands on experience is what our delegates find the most beneficial.  If after the course you still feel you need to have further practice we can arrange this for you at a charge of £400 per half day. 

• What if I feel I need more practice?

  It is common to feel a little nervous after completing aesthetic courses and perhaps feel like you need a little more practice. We are happy to book further practical sessions for you. These sessions cost £400 and cover half day of practice. 

• Can I bring my own models

  You are welcome to bring your own models but please let us know in advance for us to ensure we have the correct products in stock for them. Our models are charged £70 for anti-wrinkle injections per three areas and £70 for 1 ml of dermal filler.

• Can I pay in instalements?

  Yes you can!, we have partnered up with Knoma to allow you to pay over 12 months interest free. 

• What certificate will I receive at the end?

  You will be issued with a CPD accredited certificate. 

• Can I get insurance after this course?

  If you are medical or NVQ beauty level 3 trained you will be able to use this course to gain insurance from all major aesthetic insurance providers. 

• Do you offer a prescribing service?

  We are unable to offer a prescribers service. The requirement by Law when prescribing aesthetic injectable products such as botulinum toxin is that the prescriber should assess the patient in person. This mean our doctors will need to have seen all your clients before issuing any prescription. This is difficult for us to do but we can put you in touch with sources that have helped our existing delegates find prescribers. 

• What if the date I am looking for is not available

  Please get in touch via the contact form on the website, even if a date you are looking to train on isn't listed, we can normally accommodate most date requests, so please get in touch.

• Is there parking?

  Parking is available on Pell Street Car Park in Swansea or directly behind our clinic if there is space. In cardiff there is all day public parking available directly infront of the clinic.
