There are a wide range of paediatric first aid courses in this category, of differing lengths and topics depending on what you needs to learn.
The Paediatric First Aid – a two-day course specifically aimed at those who work with children. The course covers the same content as the one-day Emergency First Aid training course but also covers heart conditions, seizures, head injuries, sprains/fractures, CPR and poisoning. The course also covers accident reporting, the role of the first aider, casualty action plans and primary surveys which is suitable for those who are responsible for childcare within their place of employment.
These First Aid courses include the following elements:
Giving emergency first aid to a child
Paediatric resuscitation
Dealing with a choking child
Treatment of bleeding
Treatment for various types of shock
Managing an unconscious infant and child
Managing a child in an asthma emergency
Basic life support (CPR)
Burns
Anaphylaxis

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible.
Our cancellation policy allows rescheduling without penalty up to 28 days before the course start date.
Late cancellations may incur a fee.
We can transfer you to a different course, a £25 transfer fee may apply.
Our trainers are highly experienced and supportive, helping participants throughout the course to ensure success. If a participant doesn’t meet the required standard, we offer additional support and the opportunity to retake the assessment.
For most open courses, we accept up to 12 participants per session to ensure quality training and individual attention.
Please note some courses may have a lower number of participants, based on their own regulations.
For private on-site courses, class sizes can be adjusted based on your organisation's needs.

A FAW qualification is valid for three years. To renew, you must attend a 6 hour re-qualification course before your existing qualification expires
Yes, most of our training courses are available for us to come to your workplace to train your employees.
