The beliefs we have direct our actions and shape our lives.
Confidence is something we can all learn and is a skill. With consistent effort, and the courage to take a risk, we can gradually expand our confidence and with it, our capacity to build more of it.
After more than two years of surviving in a crisis, it’s perfectly normal for our confidence to feel like it has taken a nosedive, leaving us with feelings of apprehension and uncertainty about the future.
But..….if confidence is something we can all learn, then come and join Angela and Lara where they will share their personal learnings and insights from losing their confidence in themselves, and how they found it again.
Together we will go through different steps and exercises to help you gain confidence and have the pillars and knowledge to refer to at times when your confidence wanes.
This will be a supportive, interactive event where you will learn:
How to identify who you are so you can make the appropriate choices to live your life your way!
Understand your unique values so you can identify what needs to change in your life
How specific routines in our lives can be transformational
Why it is so important to have a vision for your future
The neuroscience behind tools such as affirmations and visualisation
You will go away armed with some great tools, methods and techniques to help you find that inner confidence that you can then share with the world.
Lara Doherty
Lara Doherty is an author of The Mighty Book Of Motivation Magic, accomplished Vision Board Expert, Vision and Motivational Coach, certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner and has a certificate in Applied Neuroscience and Brain Health. She comes from a varied corporate career which spans 25 plus years leading teams and building relationships.
Lara is passionate about helping 40+ women transform their lives for the better, supporting them to find their purpose, potential and fulfillment - changing minds and lives one step at a time.
From overcoming a mentally and emotionally abusive relationship, Lara knows what it takes to go from rock bottom to living a confident, purpose driven and fulfilled life.
Angela Poole
Angela Poole is a personal trainer, mum of two teenage boys and more recently motivator and speaker. 11 years ago, Angela moved from South Africa to start a new life in the UK. In 2021 she launched a women’s community, The Original Woman, supporting women in their journey to becoming more confident, happier and more fulfilled women.
From overcoming a dog attack at the age of 25, moving and resettling in a different country and dealing with a son with ADHD, Angela knows the importance of making real connections with others and loves nothing more than sharing her authentic account of her journey
