Often we arrive at menopause already depleted from the 24/7 100 mile an hour lifestyle we’ve been living for years. For many the onset of menopause can be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. In this session we'll cover how women arrive at menopause depleted and how to get the basics in place so you feel full of energy, sleep well and feel like yourself again.
About Jo...
Jo is a Nutritional Therapist who is passionate about supporting women to manage their hormones from puberty to periods to perimenopause and beyond.
Her journey into working with women and hormones started in 2016 when she spoke at a West Midlands Police Menopause Conference. She met women whose symptoms meant they were struggling in their roles. They wanted to support themselves but didn’t know how.
Not long after Jo started to experience perimenopause symptoms. As someone who’d always been efficient and on the ball with a great memory and loads of energy, the fatigue and forgetfulness were a shock.
She knew what could help but it took a while to make changes because before making a change she had to find the mental energy.
Jo now feels in control of her hormones again and is dedicated to helping other women feel the same. She believes in simple and practical changes that have a big impact and is full of tips and ideas for fitting these in to your day to day life. She knows that when it comes to hormones small steps with a combination of diet and lifestyle changes work best.
Jo wants us to talk more about periods, to make sure women understand their bodies and that they know it’s okay to slow down.
