Stained Glass Mosaic - 1 day £100

This course is stained glass mosaic on a mirror base and designed for garden display throughout the year. The aim of the course is to teach you the techniques and throughout the workshop build your confidence and knowledge to complete a stunning mosaic for you to take home. Choose between 1 or 2 days. On both days you will have time to make a reasonable sized mosaic but please keep your design simple. Glass cutting, shaping and gluing takes practice so if your design is too complicated you will end up rushing under pressure resulting in a poor messy finish, with loose pieces.

You can choose to do 1, 2 or 3 days. The Stained Glass Flower Cutting workshops are always run the day before this course so if you wish you can choose:

1 day Flower Cutting Day plus 1 or 2 days Stained Glass Mosaic where you can use the flowers you learned the day before.

Are children allowed?
No children under the age of 16.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring some safety goggles, a pair of washing up gloves ( Please do not bring latex style or gardening, only washing up and old ones will do)
Bubble wrap or cloth to take your mosaic home. This is just to stop it sliding in the car and getting chipped.
What times?
The course run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
What do I do about lunch?
I provide a selection of teas and coffees, sweet and savoury snacks but please bring your own lunch. There is a full kitchen, no oven just microwave, fridge and toaster.
How big is the mosaic we make?
The size of the mosaic you can make will depend on the time you have and your skill level. I will give you a choice on the day but guide you to what I think you can finish in the time. You can choose from square or rectangle, 1 panel or a group of smaller tiles.
