Workshop: Academic Language & Skills Module 1

Description

This is an Advanced Level workshop that introduces you to the basic Techniques of Academic English that will help you to:

i) Read and Write Academic tests more effectively, and

ii) give effective Academic Presentations. 

The workshop is Module 1 of a complete 4-module course of workshops., Workshop 1 provides the basis for the other 5 workshops, and this basic workshop must be taken before the other workshops, and it will be repeated at regular intervals throughout 2021.

Workshops 2-6 can be taken in any order.

Note:

 - If you take an SSC 6-week Academic Skills course and would also like to do the Academic Language and Skills Workshops, you need only do Workshops 2-4.

-There is a 10% reduction on Workshop fees if you are also enrolled on any other SSC course.
