About Sarah Brown Psychology
Sarah Brown Psychology is a Clinical Psychology Service which specialises in the provision of psychological consultation, training, retreats and group/community practices with a systemic and community psychology lens.
Dr Sarah Brown is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. After working in the NHS for 19 years she now works in independent practice. She spent the beginning of her career working in Learning Disability services with children and adults, as well as Autism assessment services. She has worked in community based child and family services with foster carers/ kinship carers and families and staff within social care services. Sarah is an Associate of the charity Platfform. She contributes to training around trauma informed services and supporting services to rethink their approach to mental health. Sarah also provides organisational support focusing on team dynamics, belonging and connectedness, offering reflective practice facilitation and supervision.
Sarah continues to be a member of SHIELDS - Systemic Hope in Engaging Learning Disability Systems. She has been working with colleagues to develop the ‘human inclusion project’, which is about promoting inclusion of all and moving beyond ableism.
