Agreeing to our Terms and Conditions by completing a booking for any course , class or workshop forms a contract with Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio.

Payments -payments are made at the time of booking. A place will not be reserved until payment is completed. We accept payments by secure third party providers.

Cancellation - If you are unable to to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. A min of 14 days notice is necessary for refund in full or where possible transfer of your booking to an alternative date where available. In the event of less than 14 day notice given, the owner may, at their discretion offer an alternative date where available -Only If The Original Place Is filled.

No refunds or alternative sessions will be issued if a person fails to attend a class or course in full.

Cancellation by us - we will always try our best to fulfill our commitment to you as our valued customer. However, if in the event we need to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will issue as much notice as possible. In this circumstance we will offer an alternative date where available or a refund in full. *( please note Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio are not responsible for any third party costs incurred in relation to any cancelled booking)

Late Attendance - Attendees arriving late to any class, course session or workshop will be admitted only at the discretion of the tutor. Where this is deemed to be disruptive to other students or unlikely for the late comer to be able to make up time, admittance will be refused. This will be deemed as a late cancellation and will be non refundable or transferable.

Health & Safety- All Attendees at Pheonix Pottery and Art Studio will be given comprehensive Health and Safety guidance In accordance with our Risk assessment. This is for the Health and Well-being of all students / Tutors. You will only be allowed access to tools and products made available to you by your tutor, which will be selected for the nature of the class. You will not be permitted to use any other products, clays, glazes or tools which are not supplied by or approved by Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio. Failure to observe these guidelines will result in termination of participation. No refund shall be granted.

Student work - Finished work will remain at the studio for the process of kiln firing. You will be advised on timescale and dates for collection. Your work will be cared for by experienced staff. However, due to the nature of the ceramic process, there is always a risk of technical failure or breakages. We cannot be held accountable in this circumstance. All materials are selected to suit the process applicable to the class. The classes are for leisure and learning. The finished items are generally produced for occasional use or decorative purposes. Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio accepts no responsibility for failure of work if it is sold or gifted after it leaves the studio. Any uncollected items will be kept for 2mths after the collection date advised. After this time they will sadly be disposed of. It may be possible for your work to be packaged and posted to you, at your expense, if you have travelled from further afield.

Costs- We price our classes / workshops appropriately, based on the materials and processes involved including kiln firing . Ceramics can be a costly process, therefore an extra charge may apply if you choose an option to use / fire more clay offered at the discretion of your tutor. You will be advised of this cost at the time.

Zero Tolerance - Collectively , we all at Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio embrace diversity and welcome all. We are dedicated to our Zero Tolerance Policy. Any person deemed to be causing offence or nuisance, being abusive or making threats will be asked to leave and their participation terminated. Any person thought to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or deemed unsafe in the studio will not be permitted to participate and will be asked to leave. In this circumstance no refund will be made.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Terms and conditions set out herewith shall be settled by the English Court of Law
