Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio

The beginners pottery course was a fantastic experience. I really enjoyed getting in touch with my creative side 40+ years after studying ceramics at school! Nicola was a great tutor and with her guidance I even created pottery I am happy to display at home. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely lovely time. This was a great value for money and a lovely workshop. Neither of us felt rushed., the host took the time to explain everything to us and allowed us to make 2 cups each. I cannot recommend this class enough and for £25 per person it’s an absolute bargain.

Really enjoyable activity and surprised how much I enjoyed it. If you have never done something like this, give it a try, well worth the experience. Would enjoy doing again. Great teacher, who is very patience

I had a great couple of hours making 3 autumn leaf trinket dishes. There was a variety of leaves to imprint and lots of options for size and shape of dishes. I kept mine simple. Thank you to Nic and Lou for their instructions, guidance and help! They are kind and caring hosts 🙂.

Amazing experience for my husband and I. Would highly recommend any session with Phoenix pottery. Visiting their beautiful studio our session was very calming and we absolutely love what we've created.

What an amazing time. A little unsure to begin with but as I put the first minute glass bead on the glass curve the imagination just flowed. Never at my age, 70 yrs young, did I think I could learn something new but I did. Thank you so much to the tutor for her excellent guidance and down to earth manner. A credit to her craft.

My friend and I did the porcelain bud vases course. It was a brilliant experience. Beautiful workshop, relaxing atmosphere and friendly teacher. Easy to follow step by step class. Looking forward to getting back the finish product after the firing. Looking forward to attending more classes xx

The pottery workshop was an absolute delight! I felt welcomed and inspired. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, making the experience enjoyable for myself, a beginner. The studio enhanced creativity and was relaxing. I loved every moment of shaping clay into my beloved dog. I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is incredibly calming and relaxing, making every visit a truly enjoyable experience. The studio is well-equipped with a wide range of tools which allows for creative freedom and experimentation. Lou and Nic are always very helpful and ready to offer advice or suggestions which I really appreciate! Highly recommend! ❤️
