Kokedama is a Japanese form of garden art and is a unique and beautiful way to display foliage plants and a great opportunity to introduce some 'air purifying' plants into a home. The sessions are ideal as a fun activity for organisations and societies, for corporate team building sessions, hen parties, friends and family too.
The art of Kokedama literally translates from “koke” meaning moss and “dama” meaning ball. This moss ball has experienced a resurgence as a modern art form useful to display a plant either in the ball itself or as a hanging plant. (Japanese String Garden) It is also simple to look after in that it is low maintenance and easy to water.
Many House Plants, including succulents, thrive in this eco-friendly environment and on the day you will get a choice from many varieties including Asparagus Fern, Ivy, Peace Lily, Spider Plant, succulents etc. many of which are air purifying.
Each participant will then get to make their own Kokedama during the workshop which they can take home to enjoy.
