This one day DIY WEDDING FLOWER WORKSHOP in the beautiful setting of a 17 century Barn and gardens, is the perfect fit for those wanting to design and make their own wedding flowers. Whether you are a Bride to be, Mother of Bride or even a family member, there is something special about being a part this creative process and this comprehensive course will prepare you in a simple, but practical way, on how to achieve arrange the flowers for the Big Day.
It is a hands on workshop, where over the course of the day, you will be taught the necessary floristry skills on how to make a natural hand tied wedding bouquet, matching buttonholes and a 'foam free' table centre piece, all to take home. The course is available in fresh flowers but due to demand is now also available in both dried and artificial flowers or a mix thereof.
Tea, coffee and cake will be available at the venue and lunch is a short walk at a nearby tea rooms in the historical medieval town of Faringdon.
Fresh Flowers: You will be asked if you have a colour scheme and the date of your wedding so as to match flowers as best as possible with seasonal availability. You will be educated on how to keep within your budget, where to source your flowers, condition and care and potentially grow your own cut flowers for the occasion. Finally you will learn how to manage and budget your resources to ensure that you complete your flowers in time.
Dried & Artificial Flowers: The flowers made in this workshop can be kept for the big day and be customised in terms of colour scheme and style.
The objective of this workshop is to provide a creative and inspiring day in an informative and relaxing atmosphere and that you will leave with the necessary skills to make your own Bridal Flowers.
