Description

Floristry 101: A Half-Day Floristry Experience (1:1 or Small Group, Oxfordshire)

Learn the art of natural, seasonal floral design in a focused, hands-on session.
Whether you're new to floristry or want to deepen your skills, this half-day workshop is ideal for building confidence, exploring floral techniques, and developing your own creative style.

🌿 What You’ll Learn:

This is not just a “pick your own” fun day — it’s a deeper dive into the principles of floristry. In this 3.5–4 hour session, you’ll:

  • ✂️ Create a hand-tied bouquet using easy to learn techniques and layering for structure and balance

  • 🌼 Make a foam-free bowl or vase arrangement with dynamic styling and movement

  • 🌿 Learn flower conditioning for longevity and good stem mechanics

  • 🌸 Understand design elements like colour harmony, texture, scale, and placement

  • 🌾 Work with the seasons: using foraged, garden-grown, and sometimes market-supplemented blooms

All flowers and materials are included, and the session can be customised to your goals—whether you're building portfolio pieces, learning new skills, or refining your personal style.

👩‍🎓 Who It’s For:

  • Absolute beginners looking to move beyond basic arranging

The 1:1 workshop we did was perfect. From showing us how to chose & cut the flowers in her garden to arranging and home care, fun, informative, a lovely afternoon spent with Jenni in her cosy barn, highly recommend her workshops 🌸

It was such a pleasure and it feels me with so much joy to receive your lovely review. You both were such willing students, and can now apply all that you have learnt and experienced to your future flower projects. You both are very creative, with a natural understanding of shape and design and I am sure your niece will be able to take what she has learnt, develop it and will have a very positive and creative future in floristry.
