About Changing Minds Training

We are a national training provider specialising in mental health, suicide prevention, and inclusion. Based in Redhill and working nationwide, we deliver face-to-face and online training to the two worlds that need this education most: clinical and care teams (NHS trusts, private providers, care organisations, and the universities training the next generation) and corporate teams, from the shop floor to the boardroom.

Our mission? To equip HR, L&D and clinical training leads with training that works in practice, giving every person in their teams the knowledge and confidence to look after their own mental health, support the people around them, and respond well in a crisis.

Why training makes all the difference: most people want to help but don't know how. Without training, even the most caring colleague, manager or clinician can freeze or avoid the conversation altogether, not because they don't care, but because nobody ever taught them how to help. Our training closes that gap by giving your team the skills to recognise when someone's struggling and the confidence to respond well, whether that's a colleague or a patient.

The result? Fewer absences and lower turnover, a workforce that knows what to do when it matters, and real reductions in the costs of unplanned absence, temporary cover and burnout. Not a certificate to file away, but people who are genuinely equipped to look after themselves, support each other, and respond well when someone needs them.

Our approach: our training is built by people who've lived it, not just studied it. Our founder spent almost five years in an NHS ambulance service, after working in psychiatric inpatient care, community mental health services and crisis support, and carries her own lived experience of mental ill-health and recovery. That's why our training doesn't feel like theory. It's shaped by real moments, on a call, on a ward, in a meeting, and on the receiving end too, delivered simply, sensitively, and in a way people can use straight away.
