Aycliffe Archers are running a beginners' course for anyone interested in taking up the noble and historic sport of archery. Guided by our expert team of coaches you'll learn how to shoot safely and accurately - even if you've never even held a bow before! On completion of the course you'll receive a certificate of competence which allows you to join the club.

Is there an age limit?
Our lower age limit is 10 years old and there is no upper age limit. Our oldest member was 84!
Do I need to bring anything?
All equipment is provided by the club - you don't need to bring anything. Even if you do happen to own your own bow, we prefer you to use our equipment so that we can ensure safety and suitability
Is it at The Oakleaf Sports Complex?
Yes. Ignore the pin on the map, sessions take place in the main hall of the Oakleaf Sports Complex
Can I get a refund if I need to cancel
No refunds once the course has begun .
Full refund if one week’s notice is given and the place can be filled, this is at the discretion of the club.
