I started with Chris shortly before Christmas having not picked up a guitar for 20 years , I have already learnt more in these few months and advanced further than I would have thought possible in such a short period of time. The lessons build towards your agreed goals both short and long term and are recorded so that you can go back to refresh your understanding. Delighted I saw his advert.

I am loving my guitar lessons with Chris. I had been wanting to start learning for years but never found the teacher and timings that work. Chris is so flexible that he made starting easy. And wow! He is technically excellent and great at ensuring you do not pick up bad habits. But most importantly its FUN. Chris is a fantastic teacher. In the couple of years I’ve been having lessons with him I’ve probably improved more than during the 15 years before that. I’ve played guitar since school. Since Uni I haven’t had lessons, thinking I know enough now to just practice and get better on my own. Like a lot of people I got stuck in a musical rut and just played what I knew, or wrote my own 4 chord songs. Since having lessons with Chris I’m playing and writing music I never thought I’d be capable of.

I’ve been trying (and failing) to teach myself guitar for years so my husband bought me some lessons with Chris for my birthday. I learnt more in one hour in Chris’s first lesson than I ever have over all the years of trying to learn from books. Chris is knowledgeable, professional and patient! He focuses on the positives and constantly provides tips and info to help you get better all the time. I highly recommend him and am enjoying finally learning guitar!
