Description

This course is a legal requirement to obtain the SIA CCTV Licence which enables you to work as a CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) operator. CCTV Operatives usually work in a control room that is connected to a network of CCTV equipment. Employers typically include security companies, medium-large corporations, local authorities, the police, etc.

The Level 2 CCTV Operator course is an accredited qualification that has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for CCTV operatives. It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a CCTV Operator.

The SIA stipulates that for you to complete the Level 2 CCTV Operator course in just 3 days, instead of their new minimum course duration requirement of 4 days, you must complete some distance learning BEFORE you attend the first day of the course. Upon booking this course with us, you will be emailed all the course resources which you MUST study. You will need to sit and pass 15 questions multiple-choice initial assessment test on the morning of the first day of your course. This will be evidence that you have completed the mandatory distance learning.
