Understanding LGBTQ+ Intimate Partner Violence

Description

1 in 3 LGBTQ+ individuals experience intimate partner violence (inclusive of domestic abuse perpetrated by partners) and up to 42% face discrimination when accessing support. Participants will understand types of abuse, the health impacts, and culturally unique factors influencing lived experience. The course is a 20-minute module and is beneficial for policy makers, health/social care practitioners, policing, justice services, safe space providers, managers, HR and all others who in some form support LGBTQ+ policy and practice.
