Overview

This half day CPD accredited course has been developed by Total Wellbeing Matters.

This course raises awareness of mental health. It covers:

What mental health is and how to challenge stigma

Stress

Spotting signs of distress

An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing

Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for those who want to increase their understanding about mental health.

Format

This is a half day course delivered face to face at the Chard Enterprise Centre

Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities

We limit numbers to 20 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn.

There is no formal assessment for this course but delegates must complete all sections of the course.
