What an amazing course. I attended the 2 day beginner blacksmith course and tbh the guys were so friendly, encouraging and fantastic teachers. I learnt alot over the 2 days and will be looking in the future for anymore courses that they offer. Oh and the homemade brownies that you get on the 2nd day are AMAZING.

Truly excellent 2 days. There were 5 of us and 2 tutors giving excellent hands on learning support. The first day gave a good exposure to the basic techniques and the second day we created our own projects. All of us succeeded in creating something we could be proud of. The owners wife even went so far as to bake cakes for the course. Rear experience

I had amazing 2 days! Learned a lot about fire & iron; made a few very nice hand forged tools such as fire poker, bottle opener and hooks etc. Such a beautiful, inspiring and full of art environment. It is impossible to forget lovely people and cakes. Thank you very much.

Myself and penny Allingham attended our first ever Blacksmithing workshop over two days. We are nearing our 60 years of age and this was on our bucket list. On arriving we were a bit anxious but soon realised that we didn't need to be. The course tutors were friendly, welcoming and put us to ease. Attended a beginners blacksmithing course, and had the best weekend. Max and Giles were fantastic tutors, showing not only an encyclopaedic knowledge of their craft, but a contagious enthusiasm that transferred to the whole class. Learnt and made lots across the weekend, and will definitely be coming back for more!
