The Foundation and Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy programme offered by the multi-award-winning Northern College of Clinical Hypnotherapy (NCCH)! Recognised across the UK, Europe, Asia, and internationally, our courses are designed to provide you with the comprehensive knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to excel in clinical hypnotherapy. My programme caters to complete beginners, those seeking to fill gaps in their existing knowledge, and individuals curious about the field of hypnotherapy.

The programme consists of two main components: the Foundation level and the Diploma level. 

Foundation Level:

Introduction to Hypnotherapy: Understand the history, principles, and ethical considerations of hypnotherapy.

Basic Techniques: Learn essential techniques such as relaxation, visualization, and induction methods.

Self-Hypnosis: Explore self-hypnosis and its applications for personal development and stress management.

Practical Sessions: Engage in guided practice sessions to develop confidence and proficiency in hypnotherapy techniques.

Diploma Level:

Advanced Techniques: Dive into advanced induction methods, deepening techniques, and therapeutic interventions.

Specialised Areas: Study the application of hypnotherapy for anxiety, phobias, pain management, and habit control.

Case Studies and Supervision: Analyze real-life case studies and receive supervision to refine your skills.

 Practical Experience: Participate in extensive practical training, including supervised client sessions, to prepare for professional practice.

Foundation Course Highlights:

The Foundation in Clinical Hypnotherapy course is accredited by The Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and covers a range of topics, including:

- Health and safety in mental well-being and contraindications of hypnosis

- The history of NLP and hypnosis

- Hypnotic pioneers and the three laws of suggestion

- An explanation of hypnosis and common client questions

- The power of the human mind, the conscious and subconscious mind

- How hypnosis works and starting a hypnotherapy practice

- The power of suggestion, perception, and basic presuppositions of hypnosis

- Premature cognitive conditioning and the therapeutic space

- Planning therapy for unique clients and sensory systems

- Counselling skills and gaining rapport

- Accessing the subconscious mind

- Practical experience of guiding someone into and out of trance

- Confidence-building techniques

Course Delivery:

My courses are delivered both in the classroom and online, ensuring flexibility and accessibility. Each module includes comprehensive course notes, audios, videos, and additional reading materials. Students can attend face-to-face supervision, mentoring, and tutoring sessions via video conferencing at convenient times.

Support and Guidance:

Our experienced tutors provide regular feedback, one-on-one mentoring, and peer support groups. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, practice techniques, and experience hypnotherapy through interactive sessions. We meet weekly to practise and gain support as you are learning.

Certification:

Upon successful completion of the Foundation you'll receive an Accredited Foundation Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy on completion of all eleven modules, you will receive an Accredited Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. This qualification enables you to register with the CMA and the International Hypnotherapy Association (IHA), gaining access to their support, research, and insurance for your practice.

Higher Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Advanced Training and Specialisations:

For those seeking additional accreditation and certification, my Intensive Learning Retreat weekends offer a path to upgrade to a Higher Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Our Hybrid Online eLearning Training, available for £75 per month, provides an effective learning platform. Full accreditation for medical or dental hypnotherapy requires an additional 120 hours of face-to-face training, delivered over four intensive retreat weekends at beautiful locations in the North of England Completion of all 4 training weekend gives you a higher practitioner diploma (HPD).

Online Hypnotherapy Supervision:

- Conducted via web-based video conferencing

- Flexible and accessible from home

- Requires a computer with a decent internet connection, Google Chrome, a Gmail account, comfortable seating, water, headphones, and a blanket

Specialised Courses:

Spiritual Hypnotherapy Diploma:

- Focus on metaphysical aspects of Clinical Hypnosis

- Techniques for healing, spiritual awakening, and self-understanding

- Accredited by CMA, enabling professional practice

Joy in Birthing Hypnobirthing and Birth Education Programme:

- Techniques for a calm, confident birthing experience

- Self-hypnosis, relaxation, and breathing techniques

- Accredited by CMA, supporting parents for a joyful birthing experience

Course Fees:

- eLearning Monthly subscription: £75

- Toolkit and Trance Works retreats: £600 per weekend (not including accommodation)

- Professional Supervision: Free for students and £40 per hour for community members.
