This is the second part of your Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and the next stage of your journey towards becoming a Master Spiritual Hypnotherapist.
By this point, you will have completed the Foundation in Clinical Hypnotherapy and developed an understanding of how to induce and deepen hypnotic trance, use suggestion therapy and support confidence building and relaxation.
Now, you are ready to begin expanding your clinical toolkit.
Across these first four modules, you will move beyond the foundations and begin developing the essential clinical skills required for more advanced hypnotherapy and spiritual regression work.
You will deepen your consultation and information-gathering skills, learning how to explore the client’s concern, identify patterns and understand what they would like to experience instead. You will also begin working with the concept of the Higher Self, helping clients connect with their inner wisdom while maintaining a person-centred, ethical approach.
These modules bring together clinical hypnotherapy, psychological understanding and spiritual exploration. They create the bridge between your introductory Foundation training and the more advanced approaches taught within the Practitioner Diploma.
Your clinical hypnotherapy toolkit will include:
Advanced consultation and information-gathering skills
Counselling skills, professional practice and therapeutic ethics
Confident induction and deepening of hypnotic trance
Relaxation, anxiety reduction and confidence-building approaches
Effective suggestion therapy and therapeutic language
An introduction to psychodynamic and ego-state approaches
Modern NLP tools and techniques
Working with the Higher Self and inner wisdom
Understanding metaphor, symbolism and subconscious communication
Developing person-centred session plans
Recognising when a particular technique is appropriate
Preparing clients for more advanced spiritual and regression work
Rather than simply collecting techniques, you will begin learning how to think like a practitioner: how to listen carefully, formulate an appropriate therapeutic direction and select tools that reflect the needs of the individual client.
Effective spiritual hypnotherapy begins with an effective clinical consultation.
These modules will help you move beyond basic information gathering and develop a deeper understanding of the client’s language, beliefs, emotional patterns, personal history and desired outcomes.
You will learn how to:
Ask purposeful and compassionate questions
Recognise the metaphors already present in the client’s language
Explore emotional, behavioural and belief-based patterns
Establish clear and appropriate outcomes
Identify relevant resources and strengths
Work respectfully with different spiritual perspectives
Create an individualised therapeutic plan
Recognise professional boundaries and when referral may be appropriate
These skills are essential before progressing to advanced approaches such as past-life regression, spiritual regression, soul retrieval, shadow integration and Akashic journeying.
Spiritual Hypnotherapy explores how hypnosis may be used to support healing, spiritual awakening, clarity, empowerment and self-understanding.
The programme examines a range of spiritual approaches and philosophical perspectives while remaining grounded in ethical, responsible and person-centred practice.
You will begin working with concepts, tools and experiences such as:
Creating a special inner place or sanctuary
Meeting and communicating with spirit guides
Respecting and working with different religious and spiritual beliefs
Communicating with the subconscious mind
Metaphor and symbolic techniques
Therapeutic language patterns
Primal imaging
Working hypnotically with groups
Clearance techniques
Open-eye hypnosis
Autosuggestion and self-hypnosis
Hypnoanalysis
Clinical regression
Working with discomfort, fears and phobias rooted in past experiences
Pseudo-orientation in time and exploring future possibilities
Soul mates and spiritually significant relationships
The monolife approach
Compassionate Inquiry
Some people understand these experiences literally or spiritually, while others view them as symbolic expressions of the subconscious mind. You will learn to respect the client’s worldview without interpreting their experiences for them or presenting spiritual ideas as established fact.
This stage is for students who have completed the Foundation in Clinical Hypnotherapy and are ready to develop their clinical knowledge before moving into advanced spiritual specialism.
It may also be suitable for already-qualified clinical hypnotherapists who want to refresh and expand their therapeutic skills before beginning specialist spiritual hypnotherapy training.
The programme is designed for those who want to:
Establish a professional hypnotherapy practice
Add spiritual hypnotherapy to an existing therapeutic practice
Explore the metaphysical dimensions of hypnosis
Support clients seeking meaning, clarity and spiritual connection
Develop personally as well as professionally
Build the clinical confidence required for advanced practice
Completion of this stage develops the clinical toolbox required for your Certified Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and supports your continuing progression towards Master Spiritual Hypnotherapist status.
It also prepares you for Part Three: the Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy with a Master Spiritual Hypnotherapist specialism.
Within the third part of the programme, you will move into advanced clinical hypnosis and specialist spiritual approaches, developing the knowledge, practical experience and assessed competencies required to gain your multi-accredited professional certification.
The Foundation introduced you to the power of hypnosis. This second stage helps you become a thoughtful, adaptable and increasingly confident clinical practitioner.
You will strengthen your consultation skills, expand your therapeutic toolbox and begin exploring how the Higher Self, spiritual symbolism and the deeper mind can be incorporated into ethical, person-centred hypnotherapy.
This is where your foundations begin to become a professional practice—and where your journey towards becoming a Master Spiritual Hypnotherapist truly begins.
