Mig welding day course for beginners

This ONE-ONE 6 hour course introduces the fundamental principles of mig welding materials, tools, and techniques. This is a one day basic introduction to mig welding. Ideal for complete novice or beginner. You will learn how to set up your welding machine and the different types of welding joints.

I have a background in education and training so this links into my past. I do have third party insurance covering all of the activities on offer.We can also advise on equipment choices for those who really get the welding bug! We often have people return to us having set themselves up with the kit, and want extra tuition to get the results they want.We ask you to come along wearing suitable non-synthetic clothing with long sleeves and closed-toe, solid footwear.

I am Tony the owner of Newport Wrought Ironwork . I have been producing bespoke handcrafted ironwork and welded metal products for over thirty years using old and modern techniques . All products are handmade by me at my worship and I hope to pass on some of the skill I have learned to others by running workshops.
