The Calm Centre

My name is Mandy, and I am the founder of The Calm Centre. I started my working career as a Dental Nurse, and after 20 years was approached by a patient to join her as a Teaching Assistant in a high school. Having raised 7 children I gave this much thought and eventually went for an interview, where I was successful. I enjoyed supporting youngsters in a high school setting as part of the Expanded School Mental Health team, before progressing to become a Learning Mentor at a local primary school. This role meant I had more contact with the families of the students and was able to support the whole family unit.
