The Black Magic Standard – Professional Refinement Course
Provided by Black Magic Tan UK

1. Eligibility

This course is strictly for previously qualified spray tan technicians.

By enrolling, you confirm that:

You hold a recognised spray tan qualification.
You are either currently insured or eligible to obtain insurance for providing spray tanning services.
You understand this is not a beginner course.

Black Magic Tan UK reserves the right to request evidence of prior qualification. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in removal from the course without refund.

2. Course Nature & Scope

The Black Magic Standard is a brand-specific professional refinement course.

It:

Enhances application technique using Black Magic Tan products.
Provides brand protocol and product-specific guidance.
Demonstrates alignment with Black Magic Tan UK standards.

It does not:

Replace an accredited beginner spray tan qualification.
Provide a government-regulated beauty qualification.
Replace advanced skin education (e.g., SkinSmart™).
Guarantee business results, income, or client retention.

Participants remain responsible for maintaining their own professional qualifications and insurance.

3. Certification

Upon successful completion of the course requirements, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.

This certificate:

Confirms completion of The Black Magic Standard course.
Does not constitute a regulated qualification.
Does not replace insurance requirements.
Does not permit unqualified individuals to begin trading as spray tan technicians.

Black Magic Tan UK reserves the right to revoke certification if misrepresentation, professional misconduct, or misuse of brand association occurs.

4. Payments & Refund Policy

All course fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment.

As this is a digital course with immediate access:

No refunds will be issued once access has been granted.
Course access is non-transferable.
In-person training days (if included) are subject to availability and booking confirmation.
Missed in-person sessions without reasonable notice may not be rescheduled.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials, including:

Videos
Written content
Documents
Protocols
Branding elements

Remain the intellectual property of Black Magic Tan UK.

Participants may not:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials.
Share login credentials.
Record or redistribute content.
Teach Black Magic protocols as their own.

Breach of intellectual property rights may result in legal action.

6. Professional Conduct & Brand Representation

Completion of this course does not automatically grant endorsement or stockist status.

Black Magic Tan UK reserves the right to:

Withdraw brand recognition.
Remove access to future opportunities.
Revoke certification.

If conduct is deemed harmful to clients, the brand, or professional standards.

7. Limitation of Liability

Black Magic Tan UK accepts no liability for:

Incorrect application of products.
Client reactions due to undisclosed contraindications.
Insurance failures.
Business losses.
Use of products outside recommended protocol.

Technicians remain fully responsible for their own professional practice.

8. Amendments

Black Magic Tan UK reserves the right to amend course content, policies, or terms at any time to reflect product updates or brand developments.

9. Agreement

By enrolling in The Black Magic Standard, you confirm that:

You meet the eligibility requirements.
You understand the scope of the course.
You agree to these Terms of Service.
