  • I have been learning Wing Chun at Tees Valley Kung fu for around two months now. Alasdair Kirby is an excellent instructor who explains all techniques very clearly with applications for real life situations. Very relaxed and friendly classes that cuts out any nonsense.

  • An excellent Wing Chun club! Classes taught by an experienced and knowledgeable instructor. A very friendly group, great for meeting new people in a relaxed environment.

  • If you want to learn Wing Chun from someone that's doing it purely to pass on their knowledge, martial wisdom and enthusiasm for the MAs then look no further than this club. Informal, relaxed, well structured and enjoyable sessions. I've been training with Alisdair for 2 years and with 1 of those years under lockdown Al still kept up with video classes (for free!). Thanks Al.

  • Been training with Alister for 2 years . He is dedicated to his club and students. He is highly skilled individual who is passing his knowledge and skill on at a very reasonable cost . • I've been training at Tees Valley Kung Fu for around a year. The £25 a month for 8 lessons lasting an hour and a half each are extremely reasonable. Alaister recently ran a four hour workshop free of charge too. The teaching is of a very high standard with the instructor teaching in order to improve the skills of his students. Highly recommended.
