Shotokan Karate JKA Academy

I have been with JKA Academy Watford for over two years and joining has been one of the best decisions I've made. Sensei Aktar and all the instructors are extremely experienced and welcoming to all, no matter what their abilities. My Karate journey has not only given me renewed fitness and physical confidence but also it's been invaluable for my mental well-being. Highly recommended.

I started off as a parent rather than as a student. But I found that the benefits of karate for my children's fitness, flexibility, mental well being and confidence was something that I too could benefit from. Over the last 4 years I am learning and achieving the goals I wanted to. I have still have a journey to go on but it is one I am dedicated to do.

My son is going for karate since 2018. Sensei Sam and other sepai have very good knowledge regarding karate. They are very helpful and friendly to kids. We can not only see good improvement in karate skills but his discipline and confidence level also improves.five starts teaching.

Sensei Sham Akhtar is very passionate about his martial arts and he makes sure that his students share the same passion as him.
