Shaka Surf Branksome

My kids had an amazing time. Mark and the team were really friendly and encouraging. My 8 year old daughter and my 14 year old son have not stopped talking about their surf lessons. They have taken Mark's advice and have been practicing in the front room. They can't wait to return . Thanks guys. We will see you on our return to the beach.

What an amazing experience we had at Shaka Surf. We are absolute beginners so opted for a lesson first. I recommend a lesson if you are new to surfing. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience so enjoyable. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this surf school to anyone. What a fab time we had, 4 beginners and Mark and Harry were so patient and kind. We all loved it and despite a few unplanned dunkings had the best day of our holiday so far. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun day out.

All of the staff were fantastic but special thanks to Harry. He got us upright on the water pretty much straight away and even coached our youngest son to successfully stand up and paddle. Great family holiday experience, thank you to the people who made it happen.

A fantastic experience for my 12 year old daughter - she loved it even though the weather was pretty rubbish. We chose the group lesson on a Sunday morning for two hours from 10.30am. This was her first ever surfing lesson and the instructors were really helpful and patient. By the end of her first lesson she was up and surfing on several waves, one after another so a massive success! Have already booked in for some follow-on lessons which she can't wait for.
