Reflections - Loch Maree Island
Participating in a small group will allow for both group and valuable one to one tuition which will help me to provide you with the support and tuition best suited for you.
One of the largest lochs in Scotland, Loch Maree sits below Slioch, an impressive and imposing giant of a mountain which makes for a wonderful backdrop. The landscape really comes to life with the addition of all the essential ingredients - islands, Caledonian pines, rivers and waterfalls.
Slioch from Grudie
Add in some of the best viewpoints along the loch side and the photographic possibilities are unlimited.
We’ll view the loch both from the shores and higher level viewpoints, all the time making sure that we capture wonderful perspective in a range of landscape scales - from mountains and glens to forests and water, from the panoramic vista to the intimate detail.
Scots pine trees at River Grudie
The workshop will explore the blend of skills for mastering landscape photography using location, weather and your own equipment.
This is a great workshop both for beginners and those looking for more advanced techniques. We'll look at the use of filters, contrasting light conditions and how to set up your camera for best results.
