Full-Time Course : Advanced Course in Bespoke Tailoring and Cutting

Description

The Savile Row Bespoke Academy Advanced Course in Bespoke Tailoring and Cutting starts each September. The course is a modular programme of advanced study modules including; pattern drafting, cloth cutting, fitting and remarking; Waistcoat making; Trouser making; Coat making. Students will complete one three-piece suit and successful trainees will be awarded a Bespoke Tailor’s Certificate.

Course Content

Course Delivery

SRBA’s training programme is delivered in customised training facilities on the premises of Maurice Sedwell. Ltd, 9-10 Savile Row, 1st floor, London. The instructors are all experienced bespoke tailors, who have trained and worked under the Academy’s Principal Andrew M Ramroop OBE.

SRBA will only admit a small number of students for each course to enable each trainee to receive a high degree of individual coaching from their instructor.

Certificate

Trainees who complete all of the modules to the required standards will be awarded a Bespoke Tailor’s Certificate. 

2024 Dates (NEW!)

Course duration : 39 weeks excluding holidays 

Dates : 9th September 2024 (Monday) ~ 10th July 2025 (Thursday). 

Time schedule : Mondays ~ Thursdays / 9:30am ~ 4:30pm

Students will also be permitted to use the classrooms for unsupervised practice on Fridays.

(*The academy is closed on UK national holidays, and there are 2 weeks of Christmas holiday and 3 weeks of mid-term break.)

Cost

The cost of this full time course is £22,000 and includes all required materials and equipment.
