This self-paced online course considers how the Single Central Record (SCR) provides clear evidence that the relevant pre-appointment checks have been completed for all individuals working in or associated with your setting, and that mandatory safeguarding recruitment practices are being adhered to.

This practical 45-minute training supports in understanding what must be recorded, who is responsible, and how to maintain compliance in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.

Available via eLearning, the training is flexible, up to date, and includes time for personal reflection. Knowledge checks are embedded throughout the training to demonstrate understanding and upon successful completion delegates will receive a certificate.
