At Pilates Squared we work across a mixture of methods, designed to maximise results. As you may know, Pilates today embodies a wide range of exercises, from the gentle to the extreme. The original method created by Joseph Pilates involves stretching, isolating muscles and strengthening through whole body movements; it’s ideal for beginners, those with injuries and older clientele. The ‘New’ Pilates method gaining momentum is often called ‘Boot Camp Pilates’ and involves a stopwatch, heavy springs and a ‘Feel the Burn’ attitude.
