  • Recently visited this legendary place. Amazed by the story it carries for exactly 200 years now. Each hand painted piece of artistical work, still glimmering with proud. Shockingly noticed 90% of goods damaged during baking in those days due to uneven temperature. Thanks to modern technology. I wish this art to be restored and taught to next generation. This chCna items to be mass produced at affordable price.

  • Fantastic tour by two of the volunteers followed by a chat with the resident ceramicist made this a great and unexpected visit today. There’s a fascinating history here brought to life by the tour guides. Really worth a visit.

  • Small but perfect. A lovely afternoon's visit, with an excellent cup of tea! Combination of beautiful objects and interesting history of the factory as well as the influence of the local canal on industry more generally. We loved it.

  • What a gem! Full of history about the not so well known china works & pottery from inception to end. Our tour guide Lisa was brilliant and well informed and made the visit. We saw the whole of the works from the history to modern use of the site. As a treat we had the Welsh Cream Tea afterwards and it was delicious. Scones with jam & cream, Bara Brith & Welsh Cakes. Recommend a visit.

  • Excellent little museum sitting conveniently near the Taff Trail. The volunteer guides June and Jeff were so welcoming, friendly and passionate about the museum, really selling all the stories connected to the place. It has very good ceramic workshop, so attending any workshops would be an experience. Examples of Nantgarw Porcelain and porcelain from Swansea, as well as earthenware and salt glazed pottery produced at the place after production of the Nantgarw porcelain failed.
